Company History

1986

Started as a Small Business

GOBIND MOTORS was started as a small business in a rental hall at Bhadaur, Distt. Barnala, Punjab. Initially, the company was manufacturing Bullock Carts and Other Agricultural Equipments and Implements. All the products were manufactured using conventional Hand Tools.

1989

Shifted to Own Manufacturing Facility

After sucessfully manufacturing of Bullock Carts and Other Agricultural Equipments and Implements for 3 years, the company also shifted to it's own manufacturing unit in Bhadaur, and by the time company also started repairing of tractor trailers, vehicles and mini buses.

1991

Started a new Venture

The company managed to entrenched its brand name GOBIND in the field of agriculture equipment and implements. The new company started repairing of Passenger Bus Bodies by the name of GOBIND.

1994

Recognised & Certified for Quality

GOBIND MOTORS established its reputation as top quality Bus Body Builders in Punjab and got fame through out INDIA specially in North-Eastern region of INDIA. Due to the quality Bus Body Manufacturing Process the company obtained ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certificate for QMS (Quality Management System).

1998

Developed Passenger Bus Model: GOBIND-40

GOBIND launched fully in house developed Passenger Bus Model "GOBIND-40 Passenger Bus". Due to the built uality and comfort, GOBIND-40 Bus Model was liked by passengers and transporters and it turned to be very popular passenger bus model among bus transporters in punjab and neighbouring states.

2006

Bus Body Building for State Transports

After many more Bus Models that were launched by GOBIND and all were widely accepted by Private Transporters accross India due to their Structural Strength and Build Quality.

2011

Expansion of existing Manufaturing Facility (GOBIND MOTORS - Unit 1)

The manufacturing plant expanded to a large area of 175000 Sq. Ft. Installed with advanced machinery for manufacturing of Sleeper Buses, Luxury Buses, Deluxe Buses, Semi Deluxe Buses, Ordinary Buses, Route Permit Buses, Vanity Vans and Special Purpose Vehicle etc.

2016

Inaugurated New Manufacturing Facility (GOBIND MOTORS - Unit 2)

A new manufacturing plant measuring area of 480000 Sq. Ft. This facility will enhance the company’s manufacturing capabilities to meet the future expected growth of Passenger Vehicles in INDIA and other developing countres.

2017

Addition of Advanced Machinery to Manufacturing Facility

In addition to the company’s current advanced manufacturing equipment and material handling, the new facility will be euipped with new machinery, including Turret Punching Machines, CNC & VMC Machines and two tier power backups for uninterruptable power supply. The expansion is anticipated to product quality and quanity.

    • Job Summary

      You could work in 2D and 3D designing software, which is known as surface modelling, or 3D design - called solid modelling using SolidWorks. In solid modelling, you'll be responsible to create a 2D/3D display of a structure buses / coach or components. Engineers could then use this to take a 'virtual tour' around and the inside of a new bus and coach models, for example, to decide the color combination and design of decals or how the interior may look like or where improvements could be made.

      You'll also use your designs to help prepare cost estimates on projects and produce assembly instructions and maintenance manuals for installation, service and repair technicians. You will normally work in a small team, with each technician working on a different part of a project under the guidance of a design engineer.

      Note that CAD work may have different names depending on the industry, including:


      Computer aided industrial design (CAID)

      Computer aided engineering (CAE)

      Computer aided styling (CAS)

      As a Marketing Executive , you will work as part of a dedicated team to develop innovative and creative new product demonstrations, design new demo interfaces and demonstration configurations. You will also have the opportunity to deliver demos to customers provide technical sales support that will win over new prospects. The goal of this team is to ensure a high level of field support so that we can provide the best customer focused sales experience.

      The Marketing Executive will help develop and execute a variety of marketing programs, including online and in-person events and report on the performance of each campaign element. The Marketing Program Specialist will also assist with the creation of the marketing plan to drive attendance to these programs, including helping to put together web landing pages, emails, and digital marketing plans. Candidates should have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a willingness to work together as a team to meet our deadlines and lead generation goals.

      The right person will also be able to provide input into the program strategy, conceiving of new ideas and working to make these programs more effective as part of the overall GOBIND MOTORS go-to-market strategy. We are looking for the person who has been the task executioner of multiple marketing projects and is ready to execute.       Your Responsibilities (include but not limited to)


      Align with regional sales teams to plan and execute a calendar of in-person events in support of regional and worldwide sales and marketing goals.

      Develops and delivers outstanding MicroStrategy presentations and demonstrations that range from standard to custom demonstrations.

      Generates referrals and leads for GOBIND MOTORS Group.

      Collaborates with all surrounding GOBIND MOTORS sales and support teams to facilitate our selling cycles. Travel varies by geographic territory, but can be up to 85%. On occasion, proofs-of-concept can be held at customer locations causing volatility in this travel expectation.

      Assist in the creation and execution of marketing plans that support the program, including email, online advertising, social media, field enablement and partner sponsorships.

      Report on program performance on a regular basis using CRM/SalesForce.

      Deliver regular communication to the field regarding program information, updates, expected involvement and access to promotional materials.

      Update and maintain online registration system in CRM.

      Manage vendor coordination, obtain quotes, submit purchase orders and track invoices.

      Respond to ad hoc field and customer inquiries, and respond in a timely manner.

      Assist with various projects as needed.


      Skills / Experience / Requirements
